Welcome!

Hi People,

welcome to my new blog all about... Kinki Coili Curly Kids hair, the trials, the tears, the tangles and tantrums!

I think its time we all learnt how to celebrate our UNIQUENESS, this is especially the truth when it comes to our kids and their hair!

Not Straight!

Children born with hair that isn't STRAIGHT face years of tugging, tension, braiding, weaving, relaxing and unintentional bad hair practices- this then often leads to a circle of bad hair practices which they then continue with themselves as they get into their teens!

In order to B-R-E-A-K the cycle we as parents need to make the time and effort to nurture and care for our children's hair in the same way in which we approach their education!,

Once we begin to understand the VERY BASICS in regards to the nature of our textured hair, stick to a routine of healthy hair practices and use products, natural in formulation, long, healthy beautiful hair can belong to your child regardless of their hair texture!

I want to share my knowledge of kids hair with you, it's my passion and my mission in life to really change the perception of black hair today, especially in relation to children for they are the next generation!

God's intention!

I truly long to see little girls with afro/curly hair flowing past their shoulders and beyond, the way God intended!  its time to get back to the basics with haircare and make looking after your childs hair a labour of love!

I also want you to comment, ask questions and make suggestions on what you would like to see here.

I am a mother to two kids with very different hair types, and what works on one head will not work on the other!  I have also started a great natural hair care line especially for kids with Kinki Coili or Kurli hair types!

I will also be doing competitions and give-aways from the new product line!

Stay tuned and please follow the blog via email,  when I update with new info, it will come straight to your inbox, so there is no need to miss anything!  check the side bar to see how!  Also please pass on the details to your friends and family too, if they have young ones!
